Kinnexus 3.2 Downloads

Please Note

Kinnexus 3.2.1.285 is now released to users and available for download and installation.

If you are running Kinnexus 3.0 or an earlier build of 3.2, you can continue to do so, if (a) updating now is not convenient; (b) you do not need the enhanced features and bug fixes in version 3.2; and (c) your MLS has not elected to force the upgrade. The current build (3.2.1.285) or later is necessary to use the one-click CMA Plus export now being configured on several systems.

The old method of updating Kinnexus, through packs that are downloaded and installed automatically, has been eliminated. As computer security concerns multiply and measures to meet those concerns grow stricter, automated updates pose increasing difficulties.

Please note that installing Kinnexus 3.2.1.285 requires you first to uninstall any earlier version currently installed. Do this from the Windows Control Panel, using Add or Remove Programs (XP and earlier versions) or Programs and Features (Vista). It is not necessary to uninstall the Kinnexus PDF Printer at the same time, but, if you do, the installation package will reinstall it.

A word about operating systems: Kinnexus is compiled for PC-compatible computers running Windows 98, NT, ME, 2000, XP, or Vista. It is not available for Linux or Macintosh operating systems. Telescan is aware that some Mac users run Kinnexus successfully in a PC-emulation environment, but Telescan does not recommend or provide technical support for such a configuration.

Real Estate Systems

This is the program you need to access a Kinnexus database. Custom setups for specific installations include map data (for real estate systems in the United States) and the Kinnexus PDF Printer (which is for internal use by Kinnexus, not use as a general-purpose PDF printer). All versions include a set of Microsoft updates which Kinnexus requires, and which may not already be present on your personal computer. Note that if Kinnexus is already installed using a previous installation package, this installation will remove the old installation before installing the new version in a new location. For your convenience, certain configuration information from a previous installation will be preserved. Download speeds will vary by file size and connection speed.

Please note: If you have firewall software on your computer, your first attempt to run Kinnexus after update or installation will likely trigger a firewall warning. If asked, you should indicate that Kinnexus should always have full access to the Internet.

Note also that two graphics images which say "3.0" have not been updated to "3.2." This is an oversight. To confirm that you have the latest version of Kinnexus after installation, go to "About Kinnexus" on the Help menu in Kinnexus to check the version number.
